Dear Junior Spartan Families,
Each year the Junior Spartan PTO Board, with guidance from Principal Derek Kennedy, determines specific needs at Mountain Brook Junior High and directs your funds accordingly. As always, the Junior Spartan PTO uses your contributions to support Spartan Day, Field Day, grade-level events, and teacher appreciation, among other student and faculty-centered events. Specifically, this past school year, Junior Spartan PTO was able to fund general updates to student common areas, including installing storage cubbies, updating classroom furniture with modular pieces to promote collaboration and fund Promethean boards for a majority of classrooms.
We hope you will consider partnering with the 2025-26 Junior Spartan PTO to continue to provide our school and our students with the best possible resources. Your contributions are vital to maintaining the challenging, engaging and high-quality education we have all come to expect of the Mountain Brook Schools.
The Junior Spartan PTO is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible and eligible for corporate matching.
